Our goal here is to provide a dose of nostalgia at a price point that slams the competition.

16 years ago, I met my best friend in Basic Military Training.
15 years ago, I shipped off to Okinawa, Japan.
14.999 years ago, someone was stoked to share Japanese curry with me, as is tradition for newcomers.
13 years ago, I met the love of my life on that island, not knowing where life would take us.
12.972 years ago, my soon-to-be wife and I adopted some dogs in a bad spot. Their names were Kiki the Sheeb (“want to buy some doge?”) and Lucky, a fluff-mutt and bringer of smiles.

6 months ago, I realized my coworkers were onto something. They loved my wife's curry so much they insisted on paying for it. It made me realize how much we all miss the flavors of our youth. This pop-up is all about capturing that memory and serving up amazing food.

So, I reached out to my best friend because I am stupid and he is not. Now, we are opening for a limited run in August of 2026 using my wife’s amazing recipe! It combines all the traditional ingredients of Japanese Chicken Katsu Curry with… well, nothing.

It is exactly how anyone who has eaten curry in Japan remembers it.

We look forward to serving y’all the cheapest plate of delicious food in the local area. Come on by while we are open from 1000 to 1400, Monday through Friday, for the month of August 2026!!!!!! (A few more exclamations for you!!)
